Excellent Location, Good Experience with this property

I’m used to staying at Mid-Level accommodations in Vegas. Which is to say that the Jockey Club is right on par with my expectations. Stayed 4 nights on Halloween weekend. Two Bedroom suite was very nice and clean with a view of the Bellagio Fountains, Ceasars, and Paris. I understand there are many rooms in the Jockey club that face a brick wall, although I would prefer a view, this would not be a deal breaker for me. Room was clean and neat. You won’t find marble flooring, room sized bathrooms, or pillow top mattresses which was just fine because my rate didn’t reflect those luxuries. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Valet was just fine. I valeted about 2 dozens times and only waited more than 10 minutes twice. The hotel itself was somewhat hard to find, but once you found it everything was smooth sailing. Location was perfect for me. Very short walk to Planet Hollywood, Bellagio, and Aria. The sidewalk in front of the Cosmopolitan was open a few days (probably to handle the halloween crowd), but I have been told that from Dec. 15th on, Jockey club members will be able to walk to all of city center from the inside….Very cool. Since the pool at the jockey club was below average because of construction netting and lack of sunlight, being able to visit the city center complex and use facilities there will be a value. I’d visit again. If you want 5 star, top of the line accommodations look elsewhere. But if you want a solid room with an even better location, this is a good choice.
