“Revved Up in Vegas”

Get your motors running, NASCAR is coming to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway (“LVMS”) from March 4-6, 2011. Racing fans can celebrate early on March 3rd by attending an autograph session with drivers from the Sam’s Town 300. Certain areas of the LVMS will be open for free to the public on March 3rd in case you want to see this extra practice day. For ticket and schedule information, visit LVMS.

•13 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races have taken place at LVMS.

•Jeff Green won the first NASCAR Nationwide Series race on March 16, 1997 at LVMS.

•On November 3, 1996, Jack Sprague won the first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at LVMS.

•LVMS’s distance is 1.5 miles with a maximum banking of 12 degrees. The grandstand seating accommodates 137,000 people.

•In victory lane, lucky winners are greeted by show girls.

•When NASCAR is not taking place, LVMS hosts local drag races and driver training courses for the local police department.

•LVMS is the third stop for the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series circuit.
