BOY! was I surprised

My first thought upon entering the parking of the Jockey Club was this is a cheesie place, BOY! was I surprised, WOW!!! It was clean first and for most, and yes wide and spacious for my family of three. As I sat in the room with the door closed listening to Sada I was at peace and now have memories that will stay with me for the rest of my life. I wasn’t able to sleep due to the fact that I looked forward to shopping, walking the Vegas Strip and topping the night off with a spa and relaxation here at the Jockey Club. Yes!!! truly a club for all class that will make u feel special no matter what is going on in ones life. These three nights and four days were the best for me and my family. Thank you Jockey Club for the wonderful time.

Great room, great value, great experience.

Wanted a condo so I could cook Christmas dinner for my AF son and his friends.  The Jockey Club was such a good experience, I don’t think I’ll ever stay anywhere else in Vegas.  The room was very clean, well-maintained; had a fully stocked kitchen; comfortable beds; friendly staff.  The location – center of the strip – is great, even more so now that Cosmopolitan is open next door.  My only (very minor) negatives are that it’s a little inconvenient getting your luggage to the back tower, and a little better signage to valet entrance would be nice.

Way better than expected!

Property was clean and personnel (with exception of the MiniMart cashier) were very friendly and helpful.  Our room was immaculate.  We were in the tower closest to Strip.  Seems the Cosmopolitan built right over JC.  Found location convenient to all establishments.  Bellagio next door and the Aria just a step away was good. Across the street is Paris.  Very convenient.  Location may be a challenge to find for some but if coming in from Flamingo, stay in the second right hand lane or you will wind up at the Bellagio. Valet parking was nice as no other place to park.  Bellman helpful and efficient.  24-hour heated outdoor pool, indoor jacuzzi (no head space, room must only be six feet high) and the fitness center were very convenient and clean.  Perfect location and best value for what you get.  Loved the 2 room unit as well as full kitchen.  Two computers for guest use. Wireless in room as well.

Best spot, central to everything.

Booked in again, as we have used this hotel before – love its central area ( even if construction continues ).  Opposite Planet Hollywood and next to Bellagio, bus stop to outlet mall right out front and close to shows and restaurants.  What more could you ask for?  Full kitchen including stove and dishwasher so you can cook if you wish, but really why would you when you’re on holiday?  Pillows are large and so soft.  I even asked where they got them from, very comfy. Love the idea too that I don’t have to walk through a casino.

1st time visitors to Las Vegas

Just returned home from a week with friends at the Jockey Club. We loved Vegas and the Jockey Club was perfect. The room was great. The staff very friendly and Nicole Lee at the concierge desk was outstanding and certainly enhanced our trip (especially as first timers to Vegas). Thanks to all. Hope we will be back in the future.

Excellent Location, Good Experience with this property

I’m used to staying at Mid-Level accommodations in Vegas. Which is to say that the Jockey Club is right on par with my expectations. Stayed 4 nights on Halloween weekend. Two Bedroom suite was very nice and clean with a view of the Bellagio Fountains, Ceasars, and Paris. I understand there are many rooms in the Jockey club that face a brick wall, although I would prefer a view, this would not be a deal breaker for me. Room was clean and neat. You won’t find marble flooring, room sized bathrooms, or pillow top mattresses which was just fine because my rate didn’t reflect those luxuries. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Valet was just fine. I valeted about 2 dozens times and only waited more than 10 minutes twice. The hotel itself was somewhat hard to find, but once you found it everything was smooth sailing. Location was perfect for me. Very short walk to Planet Hollywood, Bellagio, and Aria. The sidewalk in front of the Cosmopolitan was open a few days (probably to handle the halloween crowd), but I have been told that from Dec. 15th on, Jockey club members will be able to walk to all of city center from the inside….Very cool. Since the pool at the jockey club was below average because of construction netting and lack of sunlight, being able to visit the city center complex and use facilities there will be a value. I’d visit again. If you want 5 star, top of the line accommodations look elsewhere. But if you want a solid room with an even better location, this is a good choice.

Just returned home from a week at the Jockey Club. Although the parking is still an issue I want to say compared to our trip in 2008 the valet folks are doing an Outstanding Job! They are quick and most of all very courteous compared to what I remember before. The desk persons are very nice and even the construction workers outside the building are courteous to the guests. Thanks to everybody for an enjoyable stay…keep up the good work!

Wow, Great location, Nice amenities..Would stay again!

I had some reservations about this hidden treasure in the middle of the strip. However, once I arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Not 5 Star but for four guys in Vegas, it was great. Hotel staff was nice and we did not hear the construction that was taking place on the opposite side of the building. We were in the second tower and the walk wasn’t that bad as I had previously read–we also had a view of the Bellagio fountains.

For the price and location, this was a steal…..would definitely stay there again!

This is a very nice hotel with a fabulous location. We were in a 2/2 with two large bedrooms and baths, kitchen, living room and dining area, Both bedrooms and living room had a nice view of Paris and views north. Higher floors on the north side of the hotel can see the Bellagio fountains as well. Everything in our room was spotless and well maintained. The kitchen has all you would need to either cook a meal, have a snack, or just keep something in the refrigerator. Dishes, flatware, glassware etc. were super clean and good quality.

About the pool, when it is 107 average temp in August, the shade of buildings and net is quite welcome. The net is lighted at night, and the staff does a great job maintaining the area. There is also an exercise room with a hot tub.

The clientele is a diverse group of seniors, families and young couples. There were guests from Canada and the UK, about the same mix of folks you find at other strip hotels.

We usually stay at the Bellagio or the Mirage. They are beautiful properties. But this is a nice, clean place in a great location. As an added bonus, you only gamble when you purposely want to, not every time you are coming and going from your room. Saves money for other things.
